Come and see!

What a soul-stirring message from Pope Francis:

I invite all Christians, everywhere, at this very moment, to a renewed personal encounter with Jesus Christ, or at least an openness to letting Him encounter them; I ask all of you to do this unfailingly each day.

No one should think that this invitation is not meant for him or her, since “no one is excluded from the joy brought by the Lord.”

The Lord does not disappoint those who take this risk; whenever we take a step towards Jesus, we come to realize that He is already there, waiting for us with open arms.

Evangelii Gaudium, 3.

At Catholics Returning Home, we strive to help our brothers and sisters come back to a full participation in the life of the Church, and encounter the Lord in His Word and His Sacraments.

If you are a Catholic who is no longer practicing the faith, but feel drawn to return, please consider this as your invitation!

And if you are in the Lexington, Kentucky, area, please consider joining us for our 2017 winter session.

The six-week program is offered Wednesday evenings, January 4 – February 8, from 7 to 9 p.m., at the Cathedral of Christ the King (see the map on the sidebar). Sessions will take place in the Parish Life Center, Room G, and free child care is available (for children ages 0-6) in the nursery.

Additional details are available in the “About” section.

For more information, or to express an interest in attending, please contact Deacon Tim Weinmann at (859) 266-9314 or e-mail tweinmann@cdlex.org.

May God continue to bless you on your journey of faith!
